The laminar flow pass box is an auxiliary device for cleanrooms, mainly used for transferring small items between clean areas and non-clean areas. It reduces the frequency of cleanroom door openings, minimizing contamination to the cleanroom to the greatest extent.
An ultraviolet (UV) lamp is installed inside the pass box, and items enter the clean area after being sterilized by UV irradiation. On one hand, it functions as an air lock to prevent the leakage of high pressure in high-grade cleanrooms; on the other hand, it achieves a self-purification effect during the transfer process to ensure the cleanliness of items entering the clean area and reduce cross-contamination caused by objects. This type of pass box is commonly used in the medical or pharmaceutical industries.

- Structure and Parameters:
1.Cleanliness Requirement Inside the Laminar Flow Pass Box: Grade B
2.Double-layer inner and outer shell; the inner walls are fully sealed to ensure seamless connection.
3.Adopts laminar flow design with top-supply and bottom-return air pattern. The bottom is made of punched 304 stainless steel plate with reinforcing ribs installed.
4.Filters: Primary filter (G4); High-efficiency filter (H14)
5.Air Velocity: The air velocity after passing through the high-efficiency filter is controlled at 0.38–0.57 m/s (tested at 150 mm below the high-efficiency air diffuser).
6.Differential Pressure Function: Displays filter differential pressure (range: 0–500 Pa for HEPA / 0–250 Pa for medium-efficiency filter), with an accuracy of ±5 Pa.
7.Control Function: Equipped with fan start/stop buttons and built-in electronic door interlock; UV lamp with independent switch (the UV lamp shall be turned on when both doors are closed); lighting lamp with independent switch.
8.The high-efficiency filter can be independently disassembled and installed from the upper cabinet for easy maintenance and replacement.
9.A maintenance port is arranged at the lower part of the pass box for fan inspection and repair.
10.Noise Level: The noise during normal operation is less than 65 dB.
11.High-efficiency Air Diffuser: Made of 304 stainless steel mesh plate. - Specific Requirements:
1.All sensors must be calibrated by a legally qualified calibration institution, and the corresponding calibration records and conformity certificates shall be provided.
2.After the equipment installation is completed, the supplier shall conduct on-site tests on each clean pass box (including at least cleanliness, air velocity, air pressure, illumination, noise, and air flow pattern, etc.) and provide relevant test reports.
